Aligned with China’s environmental priorities, the company focuses on reducing hazardous chemicals such as benzene and alkali in manufacturing. After nearly a decade of R&D, LEMONTA has advanced ultra-fine fiber synthesis, improved microfiber leather production, and developed fully water-soluble sea-island fiber. Its proprietary technology uniquely uses pure water to separate fibers. Through a water-based resin process and 95°C hot water treatment, the sea component (PVA) is separated from the island component without harmful solvents like toluene or DMF. Pollutants such as phthalates are eliminated, and both water and PVA are recycled. This process preserves microfiber integrity, enhancing color brightness, vibrancy, and fastness. The result is a high-performance, fully sustainable production method from raw materials to finished products.
Awards and Patents SHANGHAI LEMONTA TECHNOLOGY CO., LTD. holds independent intellectual property rights, supported by five national invention patents and three utility model patents.
